Our History

John and Matt founded Rockbrook Capital in 2003 after meeting while simultaneously working on similar oilfield service M&A transactions. They collectively recognized the need for high-quality and loyal financial representation to private oilfield services businesses; the kinds of essential businesses which make up the backbone of the American energy economy. John and Matt roll up their sleeves to understand the cash flow generating potential of their clients over time, given the inherent and unpredictable commodity price cycles in the oil and gas industry. They work hard to communicate that value to consolidators in the industry. Their process has produced measurable positive results in the years since Rockbrook’s founding.
